Hi! Welcome to my personal page.

My name is Miguel. I qualified as a clinical psychologist from the University of Liverpool in 2013, and previously as a Psychotherapist in 2012. However, I have a longer history of working in the areas of psychology and counselling going back to 1994.

I am very passionate about my work and have always wanted to follow a career where I felt I was positively contributing to people’s lives. I’ve been told I’m caring and compassionate, have a good ear and eye for details, and am honest with my views.

I was brought up to believe that people have the potential to achieve goals and aspirations, but it is often society that creates physical restrictions but also mental blocks in people, which prevents them from achieving their best.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time going for long walks, either listening to music or chatting with friends. I also love doing family history research, and reading factual histories or biographies. At times, when I feel inspired I also write poetry.

Ultimately, I am just like everyone else. Human!

It will be an absolute honour to be part of your journey to recovery.
